Cumuli-form clouds will develop with the sun and thunderstorms will form from them, especially over the mountains. In the northern valleys, the Föhn wind picks up. Temperatures rise to highs of 27° to 34°.
Mountain weather
Over the next few hours, the cumulus clouds will increase and thunderstorms will develop.

Once again hot: A disturbance is sweeping eastwards along the northern edge of the Alps, with little impact on South Tyrol.
The weather
Initially, apart from localised patches of high valley fog, the sun will shine widely. As the day progresses, a few clouds may accumulate on the main Alpine ridge, otherwise cumuli-form clouds will develop. Only single thunderstorm have to be expected in the afternoon. Foehn winds will blow in some valleys. It gets hot again with 27° to 35°.
Mountain weather
Initially lots of sunshine with only a few clouds. Clouds may accumulate from the north-west along the main Alpine ridge at times. During the day, cumulus clouds will develop and a few thunderstorms will result.
The next days
Thunderstorm, then cooling down: Saturday will also start sunny with a few high clouds. The clouds will increase in the afternoon and thunderstorms will become more frequent again. Similar conditions will prevail on Sunday with intermittent sunshine at first, but widespread rain showers and thunderstorms are to be expected in the second half of the day. Temperatures will drop slightly. Monday will continue to be changeable, with partly sunny conditions and a few showers and thunderstorms during the day. It will be cooler than recently. With strong northerly foehn winds, it will be quite sunny on Tuesday, especially in the south.
